Electronic Controls Trombetta manufactures electronic controls to enhance the performance of industrial work solenoids as well as non-solenoid applications. In addition, through our sister company, Tympanium, we offer a variety of electronic relays and voltage regulators. |
Force Regulating Over-Energizer (FROE) FamilyThese unique, specialized controls are designed to work with high force, short stroke industrial work solenoids. The control automatically adjusts for changes in working air gap (stroke position), voltage variations and temperature variations. This control is different from proportional solenoid control systems. It can be applied in very high force applications easily exceeding 100 lbs of force. The solenoid and control need to be matched as a system. |
Voltage Control Over-Energizer (VCOE) FamilyThese controls allow industrial work solenoids of any size to achieve intermittent forces equal to or exceeding much larger solenoids, making them a great choice for applications with high pull-in force requirements at long working strokes. This control modulates energy through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control of a single coil; thus, the performance benefit of 100% of the coil working at all times is achieved. |
Current Regulating Over-Energizer (CROE) FamilyUtilizing Current Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), robust performance is maintained in spite of ambient and solenoid temperature changes and supply voltage variations. It's ideal for applications where space and weight are at a premium or where consistency of performance is a must. Performance is maintained under worst case conditions of high temperatures and or reduced voltage and force will not rise to damaging levels under elevated voltage situations. |
Non-Solenoid Related ControlsTrombetta has the capabilities to develop customized controls for an unlimited number of non-industrial work solenoid applications. Examples include temperature-regulating controls and automatically timed reversing controls used with fans and mobile or stationary equipment. |
