DC contactors are electromechanical products developed and produced for the purpose of high current switching between a power source and a load. A family is a group of products where each series is related by a specific technological design concept. Typically, one series of a Family will differ from another by the diameter of the housing and other performance characteristics. |
PowerSeal Family (Hydraulic, RV, Grid Heater, and Lawn and Garden Applications) IP66 and IP67 certified PowerSeal Specifications: Intermittent Duty - Carry Current 150 amps, Inrush 800 amps Available in 12 volts and 24 volts The power you need for high amperage applications along with the sealed construction gives the PowerSeal its name. The PowerSeal's unique design allows it to be used in tough environmental conditions. |
Plastic Housing Family (ATVs, Utility Vehicles, Snowmobiles, Golf Cars, and Lawn and Garden Applications) Plastic Specifications: Intermittent Duty - Carry Current 200 amps, Inrush 300 to 600 amps depending on model Continuous Duty - Carry Current 100 amps, Inrush 400 amps Available in 12 volts, 24 volts, and 36 volts Strong, high temperature-resistant housings surround these DC Contactors, resulting in high efficiency DC Contactors. Produced in a variety of sizes and pole configurations, these Plastic DC Contactors are ideal for high volume, cost-sensitive applications. |
Continuous Duty PowerSeal Family(Electric Pallet Jacks, Forktrucks, Truck Lifts, Floor Scrubbers, Utility Vehicles, and Golf Cars) IP66 and IP67 certified PowerSeal Specifications: Continuous Duty - Carry Current 150 amps, Inrush 800 amps (depending on voltage) Available in 12 volts, 15 volts, 24 volts, 36 volts, and 48 volts It is the first contactor designed specifically for electric vehicles and applicaitons requireing tough environmental conditions. The environmental seal is the centerpiece of the optimized design for higher performance and lower cost. |
Battery Mount Family(Ideal for Riding Lawnmowers, and Zero-Trun Riders) Battery Mount Specifications: Intermittent Duty - Carry Current 200 amps, Inrush 500 amps Available in 12 volts The Battery Mount is mounted directly to the positive terminal of the battery, saving labor/installation cost and eliminating the need for the costly cable between the battery and the contactor. |
Defender Family(Construction Equipment, Earthmovers, Emergency Vehicles, Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and Police Cars) Defender Specifications: Continuous Duty - Carry Current 200 amps, Inrush 400 amps Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Available in 12 volts and 24 volts The Defender is your main power relay solution, with only one relay switching point. It is designed with built-in Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) and can handle currents as low as 350 milliamps and as high as 200 amps. |
High Performance Plastic Family(ATVs, Utility Vehicles, Snowmobiles, Golf Cars, and Lawn and Garden Applications) Plastic Specifications: Intermittent Duty - Carry Current 200 amps, Inrush 300 to 600 amps depending on model Continuous Duty - Carry Current 100 amps, Inrush 400 amps Available in 12 volts, 24 volts, and 36 volts Best case scenario for the worst case conditions. Our High Performance (HP) Plastic DC Contactor Family is designed and built to take the worst and come in first. |
