DC Contactor Families

DC contactors are electromechanical products developed and produced for the purpose of high current switching between a power source and a load. A family is a group of products where each series is related by a specific technological design concept. Typically, one series of a Family will differ from another by the diameter of the housing and other performance characteristics.

PowerSeal Family The power you need for high amperage applications along with the sealed construction gives the PowerSeal its name. The PowerSeal's unique design allows it to be used in tough environmental conditions.

Plastic Housing Family Strong, high temperature-resistant housings surround these DC Contactors, resulting in high efficiency DC Contactors. Produced in a variety of sizes and pole configurations, these Plastic DC Contactors are ideal for high volume, cost-sensitive applications.

Continuous Duty PowerSeal Family The environmental seal is the centerpiece of the optimized design for higher performance and lower cost.

Battery Mount Family The Battery Mount is mounted directly to the positive terminal of the battery, saving labor/installation cost and eliminating the need for the costly cable between the battery and the contactor.

Defender Family The Defender is your main power relay solution, with only one relay switching point. It is designed with built-in Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) and can handle currents as low as 350 milliamps and as high as 200 amps.

Heavy Duty Reverser Family The Heavy Duty Reverser is a Continuous Duty contacter with a 100 amp rating and is available in 12 and 24 volt models. The robust design is engineered to reverse polarity on high current loads for less cost.
